Ok so World of Warcraft is pretty good the graphics are amazing and there is a lot to do which makes it very fun. But it is quite expensive. It is around £6 a month and you have to pay with a credit card or with pre-paid game cards that can be purchased from most game shops. But I would say it is worth it. The main aim of the game is to get to level 80 which is the maximum, and to complete as many quests as possible. This is quite difficult as most of them are long and sometimes require the help of other players. There are also new quests being added constantly. This means that there is always something to do. Even if you don’t want to do quests you can still partake in other holiday events. Or you might want to look for a group and enter one of the multiple dungeons scattered around the online world. These dungeons are separate instances that are usually a lot more dangerous that the normal game. In the beginning the tutorial isn’t so good but you soon catch on. The character classes are as follows: Warrior, Paladin, Mage, Hunter, Warlock, Priest, Shaman, Rouge and death knight (which you can only ge if you have the WOTLK expansion pack and a level 50 character. They all have different abilities and skills. The three healers are Paladin, Priest and Shaman. They still have quite good attacking skills as well. The Mage and the Warlock are the two main spell casters, the Mages focusing their attacks in the power of the arcane, and the Warlocks focusing their attacks in the power of darkness and affliction. The Hunter and the Warlock are the only two classes that can have pets. But the Priest can hypnotize some enemies to temporarily fight for them. The Hunter also specialises in guns and bows. The Warrior and the Paladin are the basic fighting classes using swords and war hammers as their main weapons. The Rouge is similar to the Warrior only it specialises in daggers and can Duel Wield (hold two) at an early level. It can also use poisons and stealth. By EA |
