Little Big Plant - PS3

Little Big Planet is a great game for little kids and big kids alike. You can design your own sack boy, and collect items along the way to personalise your own world, and then play in it. It’s also really fun to play with friends of up to seven others as well as you, or you could play online. This game also won the Game of the Year award. This can be picked up for about £20 new or pre-owned, and well worth it. It will take you years to get bored of this game.

Mirrors Edge - Xbox 360

"Hi there, this review is about the Xbox game mirrors edge. It is an action game mostly for those keen gamers that love a fight. It is also quite a challange and it can be quite dificult to complete each level as some things aren't very obvious. The game itself is about a woman named Faith who is working for her boss in a group of "Rooftop Rnners" as i like to call them. What you need to do on each level is pretty much escape the people hunting you down. You don't start with any weapons but if you manage to head backwards and defeat one of the guys chasing you they will most likely drop a gun which you can then use untill the ammo clip runs out. It is full of complex and sometimes mind boggeling levels where you need to think quickly and judge time accurately to survive certain jumps and obstical courses. I would recomend this this game to players that prefere a half action half strattegy game. This is not a full on shooting game like medal of honour or any other warfare games.

Wii Music - Wii

This is a great game, for the right person.
In this game, you can choose from a very wide range of instruments, from galactic bass to saxophone. There are a lot of different stages you can unlock, as well as over 50 songs to play.
In the game, there is a very good drum machine, for a balance board, and a good drummer, it's very realistic. This game, in my opinion, is designed to help people that can't play instruments to have a go, although, if you are very musical, it can be hard to get into the way of it playing it for you, youjust keeping the beat effectively. Also, it has no point if you are playing with less than 2 players.

This is a good game for inexperienced musicians.

I give this a 7/10

Spiderman: Friend or Foe - XBOX 360

Alien symbiote crashed into the Earth and Spiderman is teleported onto the S.H.I.E.L.D helicarrier. Nick Fury asks you to find to find the meteor shards before it’s too late. Fight alongside silver sable, prowler and other friends and foes. All new upgradable web powers and a chance to use the black suit! (If you complete the game) Spiderman has a whole new aspect. For foes, defeat them in battle to get them on your team. Friends, like black-cat help you a lot, some friends, you have never encountered in MARVEL history. Levels range from industrial cities to sea caves. All playable characters are upgradable in health, toughness and strength. And all sides get ‘tech tokens’, which give you special powers. Who will fight alongside you, I’m not telling, just buy the game.

PES 2008 - PSP

I like football games, and have played many. And this is surely the best I have ever played. Pro Evolution Soccer will surely become more famous than FIFA if it keeps improving.

The graphics are brilliant, and there is even an extra league with ‘team a’ and team b’ and so on that you can make a master league, starting with your favourite team but with rubbish players.

You slowly work your way upwards, buying better players etc. You can set the game to different difficulty (obviously)

Frankly to sum it up, PES 2008 is an excellent game which I give a 9/10

The Sims 2 - PC

Pretext can’t explain the expansion and enourmesy of this video game. Like life like stories on floppy disk. Person personality in hard drive. Even customized homes on pixel screen.

Trillions of possible people under your fingers. You can please them depress them or deprive them. They are in your hands. This is the closest you will get to legally cloning, torturing or even murder. If you become an EA member online you can download cars, objects or even other Sims. Interaction will be available, and extras such as t-shirts. The Sims has come a long way over the years, but this is the best, and most filled game so far. No police, no NSPCC, no one will stop you! Live their lives as togs. Because no matter how human they seem, no matter how much you think they have human rights, you are their brain.

Roller Coaster Tycoon - PC

Roller Coaster tycoon has always been fun, but the latest version, with revised coasters and peeps just makes the experience phenomenal. With the peep section, you can now create your own peeps, o look like you…or anyone. Once you have a group leader they start roaming around your Theme parks on career mode and sandbox. On career mode you have a certain amount of money with which to buy stuff with, like coasters and rides. You also have a target which you have to achieve before you unlock the next load of parks. On Sandbox, you have unlimited money so you can design, buy or do anything to do with rides.

You can also employ staff to help your park, i.e. mechanics, cleaners, inspectors, etc

I think this is a good game so I rate it, 8/10

TOCA Racedrive 3 - PC

From Super trucks to World GT to group ‘B’ rally. It has the whole load. You can choose to either take the pro-career, or the World tour mode. On World tour mode you have a set amount of challenging tournaments to complete to test your skill on all aspects of the race track. You can also choose to do Pro-career which is similar, however you can change the settings, so you can change the amount of laps etc.

On free race, you can choose amount of laps, amount of drivers, where, you can make your own championships, and who you are. Multiplayer. This is run via Game spy, so you have to create an account. Which is quite annoying, however once on you can race with up to 12 other real players!
