Cooler Than Me - Mike Posner

Mike Posner has finally released this début single, "cooler than me." It is about how everyone thinks that they're cooler than him, but are not. 

It starts with an interesting, repetitive acoustic riff. It then breaks into an amazing drum/electronic beat similar to what Taio Cruz often does.

Mike Posner's debut song, is great, right from the start. I would highly recommend downloading it in America, and Britain when it comes out. I Would rate this upcoming artist, and song, a superb:

Love Me - Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber is the upcoming superstar from america. After 5 months, he already has been given a lambourghini for his birthday from P Diddy.

"Love Me" is about how no one thinks that he can be liked, but that he surprises them.

It's catchy chorus, and interesting bass line means that although it is by Justin Bieber, who you may or may not like, is getting plenty of downloads.

I would recommend bing this song, and would give it a rating of:

Gettin' Over You - David Guetta FT. LMFAO and Chris Willis and Fergie

THIS SONG IS AWESOME. David Guetta creates a keyboard beat like in 'look for me' by Talay Riley but without the annoying singing. LMFAO & Chris Willis work perfectly together, catching your attention. But without a doubt the star of this song is Fergie of the black eyed peas. She sings just as well as she does in their hit singles 'meet me halfway' & 'boom boom POW'. I would recommend buying this song to knock tinie tempah of the no. 1 spot (sixth June 2010) for only 99p and if you want 'Frisky' on your iPod then just download it illegitimately or something.9/10

Katy Perry FT. Snoop Dog - California Gurls

An OK new dance song from the now pregnant Katy Perry. This is her latest single after featuring in Starstrukk.
A strong beated synthetic song, with very good electronic effects added to it, and with the rap by Snoop Dog, the song is really going for greats.
However, it is a very basic song, and does not have the unique "WOW!" factor about it.

Lady Antebellum - Need you now

This "pop"" genre of music is very similar to that of take that or west-life in this song. Although it's not for me, I do like the cool Hawaiian effects on guitar which gives it that extra detail, and the clever back beat which is not to strong. Lady Antebellum has a very strong voice and I'm sure she will go a long way during her music career in the future.

Jason Derulo - In My Head

Jason Derulo is a great all-rounder. He is a video-maker, producer, artist, music artist, and actor. His recent songs have been his chart debut in the United Kingdom, and USA, despite being american.

The amazingly catchy chorus really does "get in your head" but for all the right reasons. With some cool electronic effects, I'm sure Jason Derulo is set for a good future in music producing and artistry.

A great Upcoming Artist.

Alexandra Burke - All Night Long

This good new song, was her most recent single after releasing her album "overcome." Although the album was put down dew to a lack of songs, most of the songs on their a decent!

This song really puts Alexandra's voice into practice as there are plenty of high notes she has to reach. With Pitbull featuring it makes it even better, having Hip-Hop artists alongside a pop "x-factor" superstar always works well. The rap is amazing however it can get very repetitive, and the verse is quite monotonous in parts.

A potentially great song.

Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina - Stereo Love

For both Edward and Vika, this is there UK chart debut. The music has a sort of french style to it, with some very english/ american scales to it, creating a nice affect.

To be honest I don't really like the synthetic drum beat for the rest of the verse, but, I sure they will fix that in future songs.

The video is frankly rubbish (don't get it!) and the chorus of the song is probally the best bit of the whole song.

They both have potential for some improvement, but I will be lenient with them.

Lady Gaga - Alejandro

Lady Gaga starts the song by putting on a frankly weird European voice, and basically explains the song at the start. Recently, the French style music has become popular, with "stereo-love" and now Lady G's new song. This song is quite similar to her December single, "love game," as it has the same beat, but is obviously saying a totally different song. The catchy chorus really gets in your head, but is a good song to has in your head because it is amazing!

The song is truly excellent, and I do expect it to get into the UK top 10, and The US Billboard charts soon.

B.O.B FT.Bruno Mars - Nothing On You

This is an amazing song that was released on radio about a month before its iTunes release. Give this song a chance, as the chorus can seem quite distasteful but in fact simply acquired. The rhythm is addictive and catchy. This Hip Hop song is sure to stay in the charts for a while.

Pixie Lott - Turn It Up

Turn It Up is the 5th single from her debut album ‘Turn It Up’. I bought this album on iTunes and I can’t stop listening to this song about moving on and those who keep happy. She sung this on Rihanna’s last girl on earth tour when she was a supporting act. This is available for 0.99p on iTunes. The music video has also premiered and is literal of the song. Sometimes songs are only like for the chorus, yet this song sustains its light hearted and diva feel throughout.

Aggros Santos FT. Kimberly Wyatt - Candy

As a début in the UK, you would instantly dislike, or like, a song.
When I first heard this song I instantly hated, her voice was one of those cheesy American voices. I just didn't like it.
However, it has a good synthetic harmony played in the background, making that bit more realistic. The rap is decent, and Aggros Santos certainly knows how sing well.
It can get a bit repetitive at times, but, generally, it's an OK song.
This song is actually being put down a bit by the radio stations, but still.

Buy It? Maybe if your American and like cheesy voices.

Sean Kingston and Justin Bieber - Eenie Meenie

I laughed a lot when I first heard about this song.
Probably the fattest rapper, singing alongside, the "eight" year old Justin Bieber.

All the song is alright, Justin Bieber just makes it terrible, and it is almost as if he is giving the work to Sean Kingston, but collecting the money for himself.

However, the chorus has a very catchy tune, and for this reason, I would have given it a 8/10.

But. Justin Bieber is in it, so I have to give it a:

N-Dubz - Say It over

N-dubz album has been out about a year now, with number FT. Tinchy stryder, and strong again big hits on it.

The song has a very catchy, but short, chorus that many people are humming around the place. The girl in the band is a very strong singer, and is great alongside Dappy.

Kevin Rudolf FT. Jay Sean, Lil' Wayne, Birdman - I Made It

After Kevin Rudolf successful single "Let it rock," he has come back with a few of his "friends" to do this great new song.

Although the tune is catchy, the words are hard to remember, therefore not making it a catchy melody song. However, the powerful electric cello in provides a beat, which therefore creates interesting harmonies, and overlaps. The different effects in the song also make an amazing atmoshere, making you press the replay button after you have listened to it once.

Another great song from 3OH!3, an upcoming boygroup, who made there UK debut with Katy Perry, singing, "starstrukk." That was a great song, and this is no exception to their string of great songs, featuring great artists.

The song starts with a clap-beat, but develops into a "hummm-provoking" electonic tune. There are already plenty of views of this great song on youtube, limewire, and it is searched for a lot on twitter.

Pixie Lott - Gravity

Pixie Lott made it big in britain June '09, when she released Mama Do as a single. From there she has only got higher, and after now releasing 5 singles from her album, "Turn It Up" she is obviously doing well.

Gravity, is one of her less well known singles, that she released in March 2010.

It features many cool effects, including a deeper voice affect, which adds to the "space" feel of the song. The catchy chorus has a nice, real drum beat, but uses many good, sythetic instruments to create the perfect song. During the bridge for instance, her voice goes very high, demonstrating her extremely good voice. In my opinion, she is one of the only current stars to actually be able to sing. Jason Derulo - Ridin' Solo

Jason Derulo has certainly picked up his act in the recent weeks, coming from club playing, to potentially two number 1's in the space of a month. First "whatcha say," now, "Ridin' Solo."

This catchy song has certainly made it into most peoples, annoyingly catchy songs, despite it still being a great song. I often hear people humming etc. It has a very decent electronic backing music, that adds to its atmoshere, with a strong beat in synthetic drum pad.

Selena Gomez has recently made her debut - "Falling Down" and this is no exception to her string of great songs, "Naturally" is a strong beated, catchy song, with a great chorus that you will be singing for a long time. Timberland Ft. Justin Timberlake - Carry Out

This song is on Timberland's most recent album - Shock Value II - Where it is probally one of the best songs in the album, apart from "If we ever meet again Ft. Katy Perry".

The unique "bells" add a great atmosphere to the song, giving a rhythm, whilst playing chords at the same time. It also helps that Justin Timberlake is Featuring in it, unlike the other Justin (Bieber), Justin Timberlake can actually sing, and has an 8 year experience in the music industry, creating records for a long time. Despite being not that catchy, I like the song, and would give it a firm:
